What is Typid Events?

Typid Events organizer toolkit: tickets, Ticket Booth, check-in, and dashboard

Overview

Typid Events is an all-in-one event platform for organizers. You create events, sell free or paid tickets on a branded Ticket Booth, take payments through secure checkout, manage buyers and attendees, check people in with QR codes, and track income and expenses, all in one place.

It is built for the person running the event: student organizations, independent organizers, communities, small businesses, creators, and venues in the Philippines. Buyers get a simple checkout and a ticket with a unique QR code. Organizers get the dashboard.

Typid is not a consumer marketplace. People find your event through the link you share, not by browsing a public feed.

Typical events include concerts and festivals, college org events, workshops, pop-ups, fun runs, trade shows, art exhibits, product launches, raffles, and private gatherings.

From one organizer account you can:

  • Create events with a title, schedule, timezone, Event Page Link, venue, and description.
  • Sell ticket types: free or paid, limited or unlimited, with optional discounts, bundles, and merch.
  • Design a public Ticket Booth (Navbar, Hero, Tickets, About, Location, Featured Guest, Seat Plan, Footer) and a matching Ticket Design.
  • Take payments through PayMongo: GCash, Maya, QR Ph, GrabPay, and card.
  • Manage buyers and attendees, add manual orders, and export lists.
  • Check people in on event day with Scan QR, attendee search, or a volunteer check-in link.
  • Plan a budget and checklist, then close the books in Evaluation (sales, sponsorships, expenses, and net revenue).
  • Request a payout to a bank, GCash, Maya, or InstaPay.

You do not need to code or design to launch. Create the event, add a ticket type, publish, and share the link.

Create your first event

Every workflow in Typid starts with an event. You can create one as soon as you have an organization; publishing it needs a verified account.

  1. Before you create

    • Go to Sign Up to create your account and organization.
    • Verify your identity (KYC) from the banner at the top of your dashboard. You can build events while it's reviewed; publishing, ticket sales, emails and payouts unlock once you're verified.
    • After you sign in, set up your organization (name and subdomain, such as yourorg.typid.ph). Create Event sends you there first if you do not have one yet.
  2. Open the create event form

Sign in to land on your Dashboard, then click Create Event. The form asks for the details below.

  3. Fill in the event

    • Event Title: the name of the event.
    • Processing Fee: Buyer pays processing fee (added at checkout) or Organizer absorbs processing fee (buyers pay the ticket subtotal only).
    • Start and End: date and time, plus the event timezone. Start cannot be in the past; end cannot be before start.
    • Event Page Link: the URL slug for your public Ticket Booth (for example yourorg.typid.ph/my-event). Typid fills this from the title; you can edit it.
    • Venue: Venue (physical address), Online event (meeting link), or To be announced.
    • Description: what attendees need to know.
  1. Click Create Event.
  2. Typid opens the new event Dashboard, where you add tickets, coupons, merch, and the rest of the setup.

For field-by-field screenshots, see Create an Event.

The 3-step launch checklist

You can sell tickets as soon as three things are true: the event exists, at least one ticket type is visible in Ticket Booth, and the event is published. Custom branding can wait.

  1. Create the event

Use Create Event with a title, schedule, Event Page Link, and venue. That gives you a dashboard and a public URL. It stays unpublished until you turn it on.

  2. Add at least one ticket type

On the event Dashboard, click Add Ticket.

    • Set the Name (for example General Admission or VIP) and Price (₱). Use 0 for a free ticket.
    • Optionally add a description of what the ticket includes.
    • Turn on Limited Supply to set a Quantity, or leave it off for unlimited.
    • Turn Show in Ticket Booth on so buyers can see it on the public page (it is off by default).
    • Optional: add a ticket Discount (percentage or fixed amount), turn on Ticket Bundle (multiple attendees per purchase), or attach merch.

Save, then repeat for each tier. Hidden ticket types stay off the Ticket Booth until you enable Show in Ticket Booth.

  3. Publish and share

    • Open Booth Editor from the event side panel if you want to customize Navbar, Hero, Tickets, About, Location, Featured Guest, Seat Plan, or Footer. Click Publish Ticket Booth to push the design live. Work auto-saves as you go.
    • Publish the event so the Ticket Booth is public (from the event card menu: Event published). Share the Event Page Link.
    • Buyers open the link, choose tickets, and pay with GCash, Maya, QR Ph, GrabPay, or card. After payment they receive tickets with QR codes by email.

Optional before launch: coupons, merch, checkout queue, a checkout success message, and a survey during checkout. None of these block publishing. See Publish & Share for the Booth Editor publish flow.

Dashboard overview

Typid has two dashboards. The home Dashboard lists every event you own. Opening an event takes you to that event’s Dashboard, where sales, tickets, and day-of tools live.

  1. Home Dashboard

Sign in to land here. Events are grouped into All Events, Upcoming, and Past.

    • Click Create Event to add a new one.
    • Click an event card to open it. Each open event becomes a tab in the top bar so you can switch without going back to the list.
    • Right-click an event card to publish, unpublish, duplicate, or open it.
    • Use the bell icon for Typid announcements. Sales on the event Dashboard refresh in real time.
  2. Event side panel

When an event is open, the side panel (bottom nav on mobile) moves you between:

    • Dashboard: tickets, sales, attendees, coupons, merch, raffle, and survey.
    • Planning: planned budget line items and the event checklist.
    • Evaluation: Ticket Net Revenue, sponsorships, expenses, and Total Net Revenue.
    • Ticket Design: colors, background image, and sidebar label on the ticket card.
    • Booth Editor: the public Ticket Booth layout.
    • Scan QR: the check-in scanner for event day.
  3. Event Dashboard

The top of the event Dashboard shows KPI cards:

    • Confirmed Ticket Sales: tickets from complete payments. Pending or unpaid orders are not included.
    • Total Attendees: expected check-in headcount. Bundle tickets count each included seat.
    • Ticket Net Revenue: what your tickets sold for on paid orders, at the prices each order was paid at.
    • Total Net Revenue: ticket sales plus sponsorships, minus expenses. Hidden by default until you turn it on in Customize dashboard.

Tabs under the KPIs: All, Tickets, Transactions, Attendees, Coupons, Merchandise, Raffle, and Survey. All shows those sections together; you can drag to reorder them.

Open Customize dashboard from the event name menu (or Actions on mobile) to show or hide KPI cards and sections. Your layout is remembered on this device.

On event day, Scan QR validates tickets on camera. If a code will not scan, use Search Attendee (download attendee data first). You can also share a volunteer check-in link so staff can scan without a Typid login.
