Typid began in early 2024 as a personal finance app built by Warren and Nathaniel. But when organizers kept coming to them with the exact same headache of chaotic event budgets, they pivoted to solve a bigger problem. They shipped the MVP in December 2025.
When Hernan joined as technical co-founder six months later, the team clicked into place. Today, Warren designs the experience, Nathaniel leads product strategy, and Hernan engineers the platform to scale.
By September, the backlog had a backlog of its own. Organizers kept asking for more, and three people could only do so much.
Behind closed doors, something bigger was taking shape. We can't tell you what it is yet.
So in October, the crew opened the door, and two people walked through it: Adam and Cris.
